Ruth Straub, devoted to family

Ruth Straub, 95, of Dover passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, at Westminster Village, were she lived since March 2014.

Ruth was born April 2, 1921, in Passaic, N.J., to the late William Bohman and Helen Crawford Bohman.

She loved life and a good party. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, nana, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many, always active and generous with her time and spirit.

Ruth Straub was a member of the Dover Presbyterian Church and had a strong faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ken Straub in 1983; and her two brothers, David and Billie.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Warnell (Michael Taylor) of Lewes; sons Ken Straub (Marie) of Holiday Fla., and David Straub (Sheelagh) of West Chester Pa.; and grandchildren Kenny and Ashleigh Straub. She was also fortunate to have additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren through Barbara's and Ken's marriages. They were all loved and were a source of much enjoyment.

A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later time.
