Sarah and Ted Lauzen announce daughter's birth

Capt. Ted and Sarah (Burris) Lauzen are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, Caroline Thérèse Lauzen. Caroline was born Oct. 4, 2014, in Colorado Springs, Colo., weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces, and measured 21 3/4 inches long. She is quite the little bundle of joy.

Proud grandparents are Howard and Debbie Burris of Rehoboth Beach, Janice Burris of Milford and Chris and Sarah Lauzen of Aurora, Ill. Proud aunts and uncles include Julio and Allison Castellanos of Georgetown, Jason and Taryn Burris of Lewes, Lloyd and Rachael Keys of Lewes, Elliot Lauzen of New York, N.Y., Hans Lauzen of San Diego, Calif., and Rob Lauzen of Hanover, N.H. Caroline is also welcomed by her nine cousins: Gannon, Evan, Ellie, Maximo, Octavio, Johno, Marshall, Henry, and Ginny.

Originally from Milford and Lewes, Sarah Lauzen now lives with Ted and Caroline in Colorado Springs where Ted trains at the Olympic Training Center and represents the United States Marine Corps and Team USA as a member of the USA Modern Pentathlon World Cup Team. The Lauzen family looks forward to returning to Delaware in the future.
