Save the planet: Trade in or donate vehicle to ITN

April 17, 2017

Earth Day 2017 is fast approaching (April 22) and the theme is Environmental and Climate Literacy. If you are looking for a way to help protect and conserve the environment, it is a perfect time to gift your vehicle to ITN Southern Delaware.

According to AAA (2015), it costs an average of $8,698 a year to own and operate a vehicle. Auto insurance, general maintenance and repairs, as well as registration costs add up over time, even for a vehicle that is rarely being driven.

Members of ITN Southern Delaware can gift their car to ITN and deposit its value in their account to use for arm-through-arm, door-through-door transportation services. We handle all the details, and you no longer have to worry about registering, insuring, and maintaining a car that just sits in the driveway.

If you are not a member of ITN, but want to support the need for our services in Sussex County, you can donate your vehicle as a tax write-off. Again, we handle all the details and the value of your car is deposited into our Road Scholarship Fund to be used by our riders in need of financial assistance to maintain active, healthy and independent lives!

If you are looking for a way to promote a cleaner and more energy-efficient planet and support environmental and climate literacy this Earth Day, show your support through a vehicle donation or trade! Reduce carbon emissions and do your part in keeping our planet green.
To give today, visit itnsoutherndelaware.org or call 302-448-8486.
