Schell Brothers wins 19 Regal Awards
Sussex County residential home builder Schell Brothers and its affiliate companies won 21 Regal Awards at the annual Home Builders Association of Delaware Regal Awards, held May 18 at 99 Sea Level in Bethany Beach.
"We are thrilled with our recognition at the Regal Awards this year," said Chris Schell, owner of Schell Brothers. "We have an experienced team who consistently sets the bar in the homebuilding industry. I am proud that we have so many talented people that strive for excellence in everything they do.”
Schell Brothers secured awards across a wide array of categories including the highly coveted distinction of Delaware Community of the Year, which was awarded to Coastal Club. Located in Lewes, the resort-style community also won for Sussex County Community of the Year. Coastal Club also took home awards for Best Clubhouse Design, Best Exterior Merchandising and Best Interior Merchandising.
Schell Brothers’ in-house marketing team secured several accolades at the annual event, including awards for Best Print Ad for Truitt Homestead, Best Postcard or Direct Mail for Truitt Homestead, Best Billboard for Truitt Homestead, Best Image Campaign for Truitt Homestead, Best Social Media Campaign and Best Video or Commercial for Dracula’s New Schell Home.
Five Schell Brothers model homes garnered additional awards. The Mayberry model at Coastal Club won Best Green Home, while The Whimbrel model at Independence won Best Active Adult Community Home. The Hatteras at Bayside won Best Multi-Family Home, and a new floor plan, The Shearwater, at Sawgrass North, secured two awards for Best Luxury Community Home (3,000-4,000 square feet) and Best Exterior Merchandising.
Schell Brothers’ affiliate company, Echelon Custom Homes, won two awards for The Carnegie at Showfield, including Best Luxury Community Home (4,000+ square feet) and Best Interior Merchandising.
Creative Courtyards, Schell Brothers’ hardscape affiliate company, snagged four awards, including Best Outdoor Area Design for The Shearwater courtyard in Sawgrass North, Best Website, and Best Event or Promotion. Courtyard designer Scott Rogers took home top honors as Designer of the Year.
The Schell Brothers sales team also got plenty of recognition. The Bayside sales team, comprising Frank Ryan, Natalie Sweeney and John Gross, won Sales Team of the Year.
In addition, many Schell Brothers’ sales team members were recognized for their annual sales volume.
Diamond Sales ($15,000,000+) award winners include Tyler Brock, Gray Desch, Josh Hay, Alli Perry, Adam Pettengell, Grace Reardon, Frank Ryan, Natalie Sweeney, Vicki Wilkins and Joe Wobeter. Gold Sales ($5,000,000 to $9,900,000) recipients included Jay Hauck, Jeff Klabe, Melissa O’Neill, Andrew Rogan, Josh Stone, John Gross and Nikki Southard.
