Second annual SoDel Festival a great success

October 18, 2016

On Saturday, Oct. 8, Creative Coastal Connections Corp, a non-profit, presented the 2nd Annual Southern Delaware Wine, Food & Music Festival. The festival celebrated some of the finer things in life to raise money for those less fortunate. Support will go to The Food Bank of Delaware, Children & Families First and Rotary's Global Initiative to End Polio Now.

The event was a huge success and couldn't have been done without the following amazing sponsors: SoDel Concepts, Schell Brothers, Bin 66, Jackson Family Vineyards, Sysco Foods, Cape Gazette, Tunnell & Raysor, Ocean Atlantic, WRDE TV, Comcast Spotlight, PNC Wealth Management, Meineke Car Care Center, Hyett Refrigeration, County Bank, Sposato Family Vineyards, Active Adults Realty, The Stone Balloon, Signarama, Coastal Tents & Events, W Films, 302 Design, Adams Burch, The Voice Radio Network, Delmarva Public Radio and Coast2Coast.
A ton of gratitude to all the restaurants that participated which include: BlueCoast, Lupo, Fish On, Matt's Fish Camp/Lewes, Bramble & Brine, Blue Moon, Henlopen Oyster House, Salt Air, Grandpa Mac, Fork & Flask at Nage, Off the Hook, Michy's Relaxed Dining, The Gate House, Blackwall Hitch, JD Shuckers, 208 Social and The Cultured Pearl.

We had tremendous support from the wine/beer/liquor distributors: Jackson Family Wines, Bacchus Imports, Dogfish Head, George's Mixes, Regal, Southern, Opici, Lanterna, Sposato Family Vineyards and Country Vintner.
And finally, a big thank you to all who came out for the event. It's always the people who really make it. Stay tuned for information about next year's festival.
