Sharp Edge joins Milton Farmers Market every Friday

May 25, 2017

Next time shoppers head to Milton Farmers Market, they can bring more than a shopping bag and a hearty appetite. They may want to bring their knives and kitchen tools. New vendor Sharp Edge will be parked at the market entrance in a bright red truck to offer a unique mobile sharpening service for market visitors. All kinds of knives, scissors and kitchen tools can be dropped off and sharpened while patrons shop.

This specialty service will reclaim, repair and sharpen chef's knives, carvers, utility knives, and boning, filet, paring, tactical and pocket knives on site. Visitors can bring many items (including scissors and lawnmower blades) and arrange for a later pickup date.

Sharp Edge will not only bring the "sharp" back to customers' knives, scissors and shears, lawnmower blades, axes and hatchets, they will repair and sharpen hoes and shovels as well. If it's metal and it's meant to cut, Sharp Edge can help reclaim the sharpest edge for improved performance. Stop by the red Sharp Edge truck and ask how gardening tools, grooming equipment (for dogs and humans), hunting gear, knives, and scissors can benefit from this specialty service.

Milton Farmers Market is open from 3 to 6 p.m., every Friday on the grass at Dogfish Head Brewery on Village Center Drive in Cannery Village. With over 20 exceptional sellers, the market provides everything needed for the finest meal preparations. Plus, Abbott's Grill offers delicious take-away meals to bring home or enjoy on site at the picnic tables. And there's cold Dogfish Head beer and live music every week, with plenty of free parking.
