Sherman Corp. receives performance award from Preferred Energy Group captive

Lyons Companies announced that Dean Sherman and The Sherman Corp. received the Vice President's Award at the 2017 annual meeting of the Preferred Energy Group. This award recognizes outstanding risk-control practices that empower a safe work environment and positive work culture. Sherman Corp. has been the recipient of the Vice President's and President's Awards at every annual meeting of the PEG captive for the last five years.

The Sherman Corp. is one of over 100 businesses Lyons Companies has placed in the captive insurance marketplace. "Captives work for well-run companies like Sherman that do all they can to reduce and prevent losses," said David F. Lyons Sr., president and CEO, who presented the award to Dean Sherman, John Evans and Orville Mills of the Sherman Corp.
