Shuffling rentals a pie-in-the-sky proposal

July 13, 2017

The Lewes resident who came up with the "brilliant idea" that shuffling rentals would alleviate the traffic problems (among other things) must love living in pie-in-the-sky land.

Saturday to Saturday/Sunday to Sunday rentals reflect the fact that (in the real world) most people do not have such an option to take the middle of the week off.

Vacation schedules work around the work week, school schedules, factory shutdowns, etc. Most working families do not have the luxury of scheduling a boutique vacation.

Put on your big boy pants and accept the reality that summertime at the Delaware shore is both a blessing and a curse and go hang out with the "Captain" and enjoy the ride.
