Slaughter Beach home shot at for second time

November 25, 2017

A Slaughter Beach home was shot at Nov. 24 for the second time this month.

The incident happened at 6:16 p.m. when a homeowner said he heard a gunshot outside his home in the 400 block of Bay Avenue, and then heard a vehicle speeding away, said Master Cpl. At this time there are no suspects; however, a red sedan was seen fleeing from the scene, Jaffe said.

This case remains under investigation, and the Delaware State Police is requesting anyone with any information regarding this incident to contact Troop 4, Major Crimes Unit at 302-856-5850. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or via the internet at delaware.crimestoppersweb.com.
