SoDel Cares held its 3rd Annual Fundraiser Nov. 17 at Fish On in Lewes. The event, which raises funds for the nonprofit foundation, pays tribute to the late Matt Haley, SoDel Concepts' founder, who received the James Beard Foundation Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2014. The nonprofit has made contributions to organizations that help children, at-risk youth and adults, and the elderly. Beneficiaries included the Rehoboth Beach Boys & Girls Club, The Freeman Stage at Bayside, The Harry K Foundation and Pathways to Success.

Live music and silent and live auctions were featured at the fundraiser. In the past, auction items have included a motorcycle and dinners for up to 20 people. Haley died in a motorcycle accident in Nepal while on a humanitarian mission.
