SoDel Concepts restaurants offer outdoor dining for second season

September 28, 2016

As the tourist traffic thins, coastal locals are venturing out more to enjoy the seaside attractions. At SoDel Concepts restaurants, they can savor autumn while dining al fresco.

"It's the second season at the beach, and we want both residents and visitors to enjoy the weather," said Scott Kammerer, president of SoDel Concepts, which owns nine restaurants along the Delaware coast. "Most of our restaurants offer outdoor dining, and as long as it's nice, we will continue to seat guests outside. We have several options, depending on guests' preferences."

Fish On in Lewes offers outdoor seating on the patio, which is dog-friendly. NorthEast Seafood Kitchen in Ocean View also has a patio. Diners at Papa Grande's Coastal Taqueria in Rehoboth Beach can climb the steps to a treetop deck, while Matt's Fish Camp in Lewes has a deck on the ground level. At Catch 54 in Fenwick Island, diners can have a meal overlooking the bay. At Papa Grande's Coastal Taqueria next door, bar patrons can take in the bay vista. Bluecoast, which is known for its sunset views over the water, offers outdoor seating by reservation only.
