Charlie Brown was elected to a two-year term, also in May. He currently serves as the president of the Rehoboth Beach Homeowners' Association and as vice president of the Pregnancy Aid Centers in College Park, Md. In addition, he is a member of the Johns Hopkins Medicare Beneficiary Advisory Council. Brown is a graduate of Emory University and the University of Georgia School of Law.

Sallie Forman, founder and president of SOLA3, said " We welcome Susan and Charlie to our board. Their outstanding careers, strong ties to the Rehoboth community, knowledge and talents, will compliment the outstanding work of our current, dedicated board - Mike Boyd, vice president; Toni Sharp, secretary; Dan Payne, treasurer; Tom Childers, director; and I continue to serve as resident. While we will miss Nancy Cullen, who is leaving our board, we are most grateful for all she has contributed to SOLA3's progress since joining us in 2011."
