Southern Delaware Tourism Board of Directors holds elections

In its July meeting, Southern Delaware Tourism's board of directors elected Janis Markopoulos to a two year term as board chairperson. Markopoulos is co-owner of Delmarva Board Sport Adventures. Benjamin Gray, general manager of the Microtel Inn and Suites in Georgetown and the Bellmoor Inn and Spa in Rehoboth Beach, was elected to board cochairperson.

Outgoing chairperson Nikky Fisher, recently retired Lewes Terminal Manager for the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, was presented with a tribute from Gov. Jack Markell for her service to the Southern Delaware Tourism Board.
