St. George’s Chapel Christmas Fair to offer variety of goods Dec. 2

November 26, 2017

The 13th annual Saint George's Chapel Christmas Fair this year will feature a wide variety of must-have items for many holiday shopping lists. The fair is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, at the chapel's parish hall on Beaver Dam Road in Harbeson. Proceeds will benefit the congregation's ministries to help serve local charities.

A broad number of different handcrafted gifts by the Episcopal Church Women will be offered, featuring the work of award-winning decorative painter Winnie Fulmer. There will be unique cutting boards, honey and beeswax products by Honey Bee Lake Apiary, Wisconsin cheese by The Cheese Man, retired Pastor David Risseeuw, and shirts and hats by Lower Slower Delaware.

Live greens will also be offered for sale, and there will be a white elephant table, an MS Shore Group table, used books and delicious baked goods.

Tours of the historic St. George's Chapel will be available during the fair. The chapel has been in continuous use since 1719, with the exception of one year in 1749 due to a fire. For more information, call 302-227-7202.
