Storm threat relocates Chautauqua June 19 evening activities

Due to anticipated thunderstorms on Monday, June 19, evening activities of the Chautauqua Tent Show - Service, Suffrage, and Swing: World War I Era in Delaware – have been relocated, beginning at 6 p.m., to the fellowship hall of Lewes Presbyterian Church, 133 Kings Highway in Lewes. Afternoon programs will continue to be held as originally scheduled in a tent on the grounds of the Zwaanendael Museum at 102 Kings Highway in Lewes. Admission for all of the day’s activities is free and open to the public. Unless otherwise announced, the Chautauqua will resume its normal schedule Tuesday, June 20.
