In one of the most unique farm events in the state, each spring the Hopkins family provides hundreds of young students a chance to tour their Green Acres Farm in Lewes, which is the largest dairy farm in Delaware. Hosted by Sussex County 4-H, on May 16, 17 and 18 pre-kindergarten to third-grade students from 12 schools took part in the 31st annual event at the farm off Route 9. The tour is a collaboration between the Hopkins family and the University of Delaware with assistance from 4-H and Master Gardener volunteers and Cooperative Extension educators.
