Suggestion for Boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach

October 18, 2016

I would like to express a concern that I have about the wooden slats that make up the surface of the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk.

I have been vacationing there for many years and love it. I am disabled and get around in a motorized power chair.

When I travel on the Boardwalk, it is extremely uncomfortable as the wooden slats are positioned crossways against the direction of travel. This creates a very bumpy ride. I would like to suggest one lane of travel, about three feet wide, made up of either wooden slats going parallel to the beach, or concrete.
