Summer session registration open for Osher Lifelong Learning

May 2, 2018

Registration is open for summer session at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes, with classes scheduled from Monday, June 4 to Friday, June 29, in Dover and Lewes.

Nicknamed OLLI, the University of Delaware's lifelong learning programs are membership-based organizations, structured as learning cooperatives, for adults ages 50 and over, to take and teach classes together with no grades, exams or educational prerequisites.

The summer sessions provide opportunities for new and returning participants to become acquainted with OLLI offerings in an abbreviated semester for a nominal registration fee. Prior OLLI membership is not required to register for summer session. Summer course offerings in Lewes include iPad Tips and Techniques, Stained Glass Fundamentals, Elements of Electricity, Interesting Issues in Constitutional Law, and African Cuisine.

Lewes classes take place at the Fred Thomas Building, 520 Dupont Ave., Lewes. For one $60 registration fee, members can sign up for unlimited courses at both locations.

For more information or to register, call 302-645-4111, email LLL-Lewes@udel.edu or go to www.lifelonglearning.udel.edu/summer2018/.
