Summer-like weather kicks off Memorial Day weekend

Although not as crowded as Rehoboth Beach, there are still plenty of umbrellas and beach-goers on Lewes Beach enjoying nearly 90-degee weather on May 26, the start of the three-day Memorial Day weekend. There is rain in the forecast for the remainder of the weekend with a 70 percent chance of storms on Sunday, May 27, and a 50 percent chance of showers on Monday, May 28.
