Susan Gay passionate about Rehoboth

July 14, 2017

Susan Gay is a new face to Rehoboth Beach politics but not to Rehoboth Beach. She is knowledgeable about the city and has been involved in making the city a better place to live, work or vacation. She is now running for commissioner, and deserves our vote.

Susan and her family first came to Rehoboth on vacation. They loved the city and eventually became homeowners. She then joined the boards of several Rehoboth organizations. For the Rehoboth Beach Homeowners' Association, she also redesigned its website and created fact sheets on key city issues. She is also co-chair of the Mayor's Advisory Committee on Trees, and was instrumental in persuading the city to create a committee that focuses on preserving and expanding city trees, a unique asset for a beach resort.

Susan has been an active participant at Rehoboth Beach public meetings, both at the commission and committee levels. More importantly, she is passionate about our city.

If you speak to her for a few minutes, you will appreciate how strongly she feels about Rehoboth Beach. She wants it to grow and continue to be a vibrant place to do business, while at the same time being a wonderful place to live and vacation. Having been a successful business woman for over 30 years, she knows how to get things done. She also understands business and finance, and will bring that expertise to commission decisions.

Rehoboth Beach is indeed fortunate to have at this important time in our history a woman like Susan Gay running for commissioner. She is smart, knowledgeable about Rehoboth, energetic and intensely interested in improving the city for residents and visitors alike.
