Susan O. McConnell, lived life to fullest

Susan O. McConnell (Suzie Orr) passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, at her Millsboro home surrounded by husband of 39 years, Bob, and their three children; Megan, Robert and John Claude.

Sue, formerly of Downingtown, Pa., and Sea Isle City, N.J., was born Nov. 5, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Mabel Neilson and John "Jack" Orr. She was well loved by her parents. Suzie spent her life living it to the fullest traveling on the back of her husband's motorcycle, and spending many days at home painting mermaids and beach scenes. Both activities brought her much pleasure. When she wasn't doing either of the two, she spent time enjoying her grandchildren on their many family adventures.

Sue leaves to cherish her loving memories, husband Bob; daughter Megan Heurich (husband Timothy); sons Robert G. and John Claude McConnell; six granddaughters, Maya, Ella, Taylor, Maddie, Mary and Hailey; one grandson, Timmy; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, at noon, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro. Interment will be private.
