Terence (Terry) McDowell, U.S. Census retiree

Terence (Terry) McDowell of Bethany Beach passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017.

Mr. McDowell is survived by his wife, Joyce; son James (Caryn); granddaughters, Juliana and Lara McDowell. He was also grandpa to Claire, Amelia and Phoebe Baker, Madison Coviello and Amanda J. Brasure. His two sisters, his sister-in-law; five nieces; and several great-nieces and -nephews also survive him.

Mr. McDowell graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1963, and shortly thereafter began a 40-plus-year career with the Department of Commerce, U.S. Census Bureau.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements by Watson-Yates Funeral Home and Crematorium, Seaford.
