There is a clear choice for a new city commissioner

August 11, 2017

I recently attended the Rehobth-Dewey Chamber of Commerce candidates forum and was particularly interested in getting to know more about the two new people running for Rehoboth Beach commissioner.

Compared to the other candidates, Susan Gay has a vast knowledge of the issues facing the city and the intricacies of our budget. She has been a leader in virtually every aspect of the city. She does research and listens to and considers divergent opinions and problems and formulates good solutions. Her experience right here in Rehoboth is even more important than her professional background, which includes financial management and strategic planning.

It's really hard to imagine a person better suited to be a city commissioner than Susan Gay. Of the two new faces running for city commissioner, there is a very clear choice here – vote for Susan Gay.
