Tickets available for Sussex County Prayer Breakfast June 20
Citizens from Sussex County will gather to pray for local communities at the Sussex County Prayer Breakfast at 6:45 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, at Crossroad Community Church in Georgetown. This year's featured guest speaker is Frank Shelton, a part-time author, visionary and speaker, and a full-time communicator of the Gospel.
Shelton has spoken across America and around the globe at various venues impacting lives for God's glory. He has addressed millions on television, preached to 100,000 at Nelson Mandela National Soccer Stadium in South Africa, and seen thousands repent of sin and trust Christ by faith as their Lord and Savior. The ministry and music portion of the program will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m.
The breakfast is held each year to bring together citizens and community leaders to pray for the county and to be inspired with a morning of music, ministry and personal reflection. Ticket sales and community sponsorships from individuals, organizations and businesses support the event. Former County Councilman Dale Dukes is volunteering his time again to coordinate.
