The second annual Delmarva Public Radio Tie Dye 5K Run for Radio is scheduled for 4:30 p.m., Saturday, April 1, at the Gordons Pond Trail and beach pavilion at Cape Henlopen State Park in Rehoboth Beach. There will be a great after-race party for runners and guests. The first 250 registrants receive an event T-shirt. All participants receive tickets for drinks and food samples at the post-race party thanks to SoDel Concepts, Evolution Brewery and Big Oyster Brewery. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase. Eastern Electric will provide live music.

Proceeds benefit Delmarva Public Radio, the National Public Radio station at the beach, which includes WSCL 89.5 FM and WSDL 90.7 FM, the listener-supported public radio stations at Salisbury University. The programming also is available via online streaming at www.delmarvapublicradio.net.

Awards will be presented for the top overall male and female runners, top overall male and female masters runners, top three male and female runners in 10-year age groups from 13 and under through 70 and older, and top two male and female walkers.
