Top choice is Schlosser: Please join us in voting for her

August 11, 2017

We have an opportunity to elect an individual who has served citizens for over 30 years, as a U.S. Army lieutenant colonel, 30-year public servant, and respected public-private collaborator with significant fiscal experience - Lisa Schlosser.

Lisa's commitment and dedication is clearly demonstrated by her accomplished career. Equally important to us, Lisa is a longtime Rehoboth Beach property owner, and now a full-time resident, who will be here every day, keeping a finger on the pulse of our community.

We know she will be our voice as we tackle big projects like the wastewater/ocean outfall project, which is already projected to potentially exceed the $52 million price tag we voted on.

The election Aug. 12 is critical to our future in Rehoboth Beach. We are proud of what our town has done in the past - but we need Lisa to help lead us into the future. She is a leader who can bring a fresh perspective, and who will listen and build relationships. With Lisa as a commissioner, we can continue to be a top resort destination, while maintaining our unique charm.

It is encouraging to us that such a qualified individual is willing to step into a commissioner role to work for our priorities. Please join us. Vote for Lisa Schlosser Aug. 12.
