Treva Mae (Babner) Platts, Dentsply retiree
Treva Mae (Babner) Platts, 97, of York, Pa., formerly of Millsboro, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Rest Haven - York. She was the wife of the late Samuel R. Platts.
Born May 18, 1920, in Glen Rock, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles E. and Daisy (Street) Babner, she was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Mrs. Platts had retired from Dentsply Inc.
Mrs. Platts is survived by a son, Duane M. Jacobs and companion Kay Mullins of Red Lion, Pa.; a daughter, Robin R. Platts of Baltimore, Md.; two grandchildren, Melissa and husband Matthew Schlenker, and Shannon and wife Melissa Jacobs; and four great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Jacob, Spencer and Garrett. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be private. Life tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.
