August 21, 2017

Trinity Logistics of Seaford was named to Food Logistics' Top 3PL & Cold Storage Providers list for the fourth year in a row. Food Logistics is the only publication exclusively dedicated to covering the movement of product through the global food supply chain.

The Top 3PL & Cold Storage Providers list serves as a resource guide of third-party logistics and cold storage providers whose products and services are critical for companies in the global food and beverage supply chain.

More than 20 percent of Trinity Logistics' customers are food and beverage suppliers. Trinity continues to expand services to bring solutions to the unique needs of its food and beverage customers, including truckload, less-than-truckload, intermodal and expedited shipping arrangement, and warehousing and cold storage providers.

"For several decades, Trinity has been a key logistics solutions provider to the food supply chain industries," said Billy Banning, president of Trinity Logistics. "Our service and solutions will continue to adapt to this ever-changing and progressing industry. We're committed to investing resources and development in the areas of logistics expertise and technology to ensure our customers and carriers continue to receive the service they have come to expect from us. It is an honor to be recognized by Food Logistics and their Top 3PL listing."

"The global food supply chain is faced with unprecedented challenges, from consolidation and M&A in the grocery sector to the impact of the Food Safety Modernization Act, among others," said Lara L. Sowinski, editorial director, Food Logistics. "Companies that earned a spot on Food Logistics' 2017 Top 3PL & Cold Storage Providers list are critical to supporting the agricultural community, importers/exporters, food manufacturers, grocery retailers, foodservice distributors and others that depend on them to support the growing complexities of the global food supply chain."
