Vickie Ann Lineweaver, school bus driver

Vickie Ann Lineweaver, 55, of Seaford, passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford.
Ms. Lineweaver was born in Lewes, and was a school bus driver for 30 years. She was a member of American Legion Post 29 in Denton, Md., as well as the School Bus Driver Association. Vickie loved dancing at Jones Boys shows, decorating, catering and scrapbooking. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Paul and Carol (King) Harris, she was preceded in death by her sister, Billie Lynn Elder.
She is survived by her sons, Josh and Jason Lineweaver; her birth mother, Louise Wiggs; siblings, Bobby Gene Harris, Alice Sellers, and Paul Harris Jr.; grandchildren, Jason Carter Lineweaver and Jonathan Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to defray expenses.
