Victor S. Chatfield, loyal government worker

Victor S. Chatfield, 86, of Millsboro, formerly of Manassas, Va., died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, in his home. He was born June 1, 1931, in Philadelphia, Pa., a son of the late Victor R. and Katherine (Sykes) Chatfield.
Victor was a loyal and dedicated government employee in Virginia for 28 years.
Mr. Chatfield is survived by two sons, David A. Chatfield, and Alan S. Chatfield; a daughter, Ellen Wellborn; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 27, in Melson's Long Neck Chapel, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro.
