Vincenzo ‘Vinnie’ J. DiDomenicis, avid surfer

Vincenzo "Vinnie" J. DiDomenicis, 46 of Lewes, passed away suddenly Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. He was born Feb. 4, 1971, in Middletown Township, Pa., son of Linda M. (Holden) DiDomenicis and the late Louis Anthony DiDomenicis.

Mr. DiDomenicis owned and operated Delaware Pickers and Hauling for the past 15 years. He was an avid surfer, and served as a Rehoboth Beach lifeguard for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed surfing, dancing, listening to music, deer hunting and watching his favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Mr. DiDomenicis loved to travel, especially to Puerto Rico, but his most treasured moments were spent with his children and his brother, whom he was extremely devoted to.

In addition to his mother, Mr. DiDomenicis is survived by his children, Emma, Jaimin and Chazz DiDomenicis, all of Rehoboth Beach; and his brother, Anthony Louis DiDomenicis.

A celebration of Vinnie's Life will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, at 3 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. DiDomenicis' name to the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays, 39375 Inlet Road, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
