Vintage bourbon raffle to support STEM programs for children

Drawing set Feb. 24
February 8, 2017
Through a generous program established to support nonprofit organizations, Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation was selected to receive one of only 50 bottles ever made of O.F.C. 1982 Vintage Bourbon from Buffalo Trace. The bottle is now being raffled to support STEM education programs for children.

Only 200 tickets are available and they are $50 each. The drawing will be held at 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24, at Painted Stave Distilling in Smyrna. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win, but the winner must pick up the bottle in person. Participants must be 21 or older to enter.

To purchase tickets online, go to www.dasef.org. Tickets are also available at Painted Stave Distilling, Mispillion River Brewing Co. in Milford, Atlantic Liquors in Rehoboth and Banks Wine and Spirits in Millville.

For over 27 years, through academies, workshops, field trips, explorations, outreach activities and events, the foundation has been preparing children of all ages in the Delaware Valley to become thinkers, problem solvers and leaders who take pride in their work. Since its inception, DASEF has provided innovative, interdisciplinary applied learning that uses earth and space science as a broad motivational framework for teaching science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and nontraditional career choices to all children.
