West Wicomico Heritage Ride

Cycle through history during the West Wicomico Heritage Ride, set to take off from Pemberton Historical Park on Saturday, Sept. 10.
Participants in the bike tour can choose from a 32-, 50-, or 62-mile route that winds through western Wicomico County, then enjoy a picnic and music afterward. The event lasts from 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Register by Aug. 26 to guarantee an event shirt. The early registration fees are $35 for adults, $20 for children ages 8-18 and free for children 7 and under (no shirt included). After Aug. 12, the rates for participants 8 and older increase by $5.
Proceeds from the tour go directly to historic preservation and education. Participants must wear helmets, and in addition to the shirt, they will receive a map and cue sheet. Rest areas will also be available, along with SAG, or Support and Gear, service.
