Wilde from Priests for Life to speak at St. Jude Aug. 6, 7

August 2, 2016

The Rev. Denis G. Wilde, OSA, PhD, will be speaking at all masses at St. Jude the Apostle Church Saturday, Aug. 6 and Sunday, Aug. 7.  Wilde is a member of the Augustinian Province of St. Thomas of Villanova and is associate director at Priests for Life. He has been actively involved in pro-life concerns since before Roe v. Wade. In the ‘80s he personally witnessed to the rescue movement and thereby developed ecumenical ties from the expression of common faith in God as the author of life. Beyond preaching and teaching on campus, he has now traveled to over 750 venues in 47 states, Canada, Mexico and Europe, delivering the gospel of life and supporting the local pro-life efforts of clergy and laity.

Wilde writes, “There is sadly no more dangerous place to live than the womb. This bizarre situation of a culture of death propped up by law and camouflaged as medicine perpetuates a lie of a colossal order. Its consequence is a dead-end street to baby, mother and civilization.”

Wilde’s visit is being sponsored by the Respect Life Ministry of St. Jude the Apostle Church which is on Route 1 (Coastal Highway), Lewes. For more information, call 302-644-7300.
