William ‘Bill’ H. Allen III, had generous heart
William (Bill) H. Allen III, 70, left his world of loved ones Friday, July 15, 2016.
Bill worked for New Castle County for 20 years, retiring at the early age of 36 and moving to Lewes. He loved to travel and meet new friends and he loved carving walking sticks for his family and friends, each with unique carvings and brilliant color schemes which reflected his inner self and his kind, loving, generous heart.
Bill was preceded in death by his loving parents, William H. and Marian C. Allen, and his brother James T. Allen.
Bill is survived by his loving family, wife Kimberly Wingate; his sons Bill and Chris Allen; and his daughter Amy Beideman and her husband Vincent R. DiBattista; and he has six grandchildren, Renee, Shawn, Cody, Victoria, Sky and Giovanni that he loved dearly. He is also survived by his brother Judd Allen; and sisters Marion Biederman and Linda LeSage; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, July 22, at 5 p.m., at the Angola Beach & Estates Community Center, 22971 Suburban Blvd., Lewes.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chris Allen to offset funeral expenses.
