William ‘Bill’Moul, strong, caring man

William "Bill" Daniel Moul, 57, formerly of Long Neck, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 22, 2017, after a brave battle with cancer.

Bill was born Aug. 9, 1959, in York, Pa., with past residences in Spring Grove and Dover, Pa.

Bill was a great son, brother, husband, father, mentor, co-worker and friend to all who knew him. His family values were his beacon in life. Bill grew up as a farmer and butcher with the family business, graduated from York County Vo-Tech and spent the remainder of his career as a lab technician at the Allan Myers Bishopville, Md., plant, holding advanced certifications in his field, with past employment at York Building/Concrete (member of the Central PA Teamsters Union), American Paving Corporation and Pennsy. Bill was a loyal, true and hardworking man known to help, rescue and save many with his great adventure skills, mechanical ability and creative handiwork.

Bill enjoyed his family, dogs, classic movies, music, boating, fishing and crabbing, adventure, digging holes for his wife and PSU football.

Bill is survived by his mother, Marjorie Mae Myers (Moul); Moul brothers Scott, George, Keith, Jim and Dan and family; his sisters Khris Lehman and family as well as Mickey Nance and family; two daughters, Melissa Reavis and Stacey Schrum; and two grandsons, Ethan and Sam Reavis.

Bill is predeceased by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Moul; and his father Scott Moul.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 29, at Sam Lewis State Park in the Hilltop Pavilion, where Bill and Peggy married in 1989.
