William David King Jr., had big heart and smile

William David King Jr. (Hunny Bunny), 61, of Lewes, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Milford, Aug. 11, 1956, son of the late William David King Sr. and Anna Mae (Plummer) King.

David lived a life full of joy and happiness. He was known for his big heart and big smile. He enjoyed listening to music, watching football (Fly Eagles Fly), and family time. David enjoyed vacation cruising with family and friends. For 39 dedicated years, he worked as a weigh master for Mountaire Farms.

David was loved by all his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Eileen L. King; their two children Melissa Parsons and her husband Alan of Millsboro, and Kimberly King of Lewes; his goddaughter, Macy Krouse and her husband Billy of Lewes; his five grandchildren: Aiyana Parsons, Kai Parsons, Zade Brittingham, Zander Dyce and Zaylynn Dyce; his four sisters: Carol Riggins and her husband Ray of Milton, Louise McDonald and her husband John of Millsboro, Donna Morris and her husband Wesley of Milton, and Brenda King of Lewes; his brother, Allan King and his girlfriend Sandy of Virginia Beach; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in David's memory to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
