William E. Willey Jr., construction worker

William E. Willey Jr., 79, of Federalsburg, Md., passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lewes, Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1937, son of the late William E. and Julia (Hudson) Willey.

 Mr. Willey worked with plaster in the construction industry for many years.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Germany. He married Carol Bohrer in Arlington, Va., July 10 of 1964. He was her sweetheart and best friend.

 Mr. Willey's true passion was training and working with horses. He was a member of the VFW and the LD Club. He was a loving husband, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

 Mr. Willey is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carol Willey of Federalsburg; and his sisters: Ruth Sweetman of California, Kathleen Cain of Harrington and Bonnie Collins of Ocean View.

 All services will be private.
