William G. "Chuck" Frazier, retired accountant

William G. "Chuck" Frazier, 83, of Ocean View and Oakland Park, Fla., formerly of Rockville, Md., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at his home.
He was a native Washingtonian born Oct. 20, 1933, son of the late Raymond T. and Lillian J. (Panholzer) Frazier. Chuck attended the Linton Hall Military Academy in Manassas, Va., and graduated from Mount St. Joseph's Catholic High School in Catonsville, Md.

After graduating from high school, Chuck attended Wilson Teacher's College in Washington, D.C., and then proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Prior to his discharge from the Army, he married his sweetheart, Maxine Reimers in 1955. Chuck finished his graduate work at Ben Franklin University, where he received his master's degree.
Chuck was first employed as a comptroller for Thomas W. Yoder Construction Company in Washington, D.C., then worked for Robert W. Whalen Construction Company and the Simi & Jones Construction Company, and eventually started his own accounting firm before retiring in 1995 and moving to the beach.
He was a member of Mason Dixon VFW Post 7234, and also their golf club in Ocean View. he was a member of the Knights of Columbus 2323 in Derwood, Md., the Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 in Lewes, and St. Ann Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Raymond Frazier. He is survived his loving wife of 61 years, Maxine (Reimers) Frazier; the loving father to three children, William T. (Lori) Frazier of Fairfax, Va., Thomas D. Frazier of Wilton Manors, Fla., and Robert T. (Kathleen) Frazier of N. Bethesda, Md. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Patrick, Tyler, Kelly and Bethany; a sister, June Dempsey of Pensacola, Fla.; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 26, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, where a viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
