William J. Fitzgerald, AMVETS past commander
William J. Fitzgerald, 83, of Lewes, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at home.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara (nee Shirley) Fitzgerald; along with his daughters, Linda (Chaz) Strayline, Kim Fitzgerald, and Sharon (Robert) Brotzman; as well as his four grandchildren, Thomas, Jamie, Amy, Ashley; and two great-grandchildren, Adrianna and Grace. He is predeceased by his grandson Jason Strayline as well as his brother Thomas Fitzgerald.
William was an Army veteran and a lifelong member of the AMVETS as well as a past commander. He loved fishing, golfing, and enjoying time with his loving family and friends.
Services and interment will be private.
