Winter WonderFest announces special midweek $6 skating admission

Only $6 admission fee for Sussex County's coolest holiday attraction! It's Santa's early Christmas present for skating lovers who can't get enough of the new Visit Delaware Skating Rink at Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal.

With the rink already a popular attraction at the newly expanded Christmas Village, Event Director Peter Briccotto says the new midweek price applies to both children and adults who appreciate that this year's bigger rink, 90-by-80-feet, consists of real ice rather than last year's synthetic surface. "This spectacular rink is definitely the cooler aspect of our ‘Bigger. Brighter. Cooler’ campaign for this year's Winter WonderFest fundraising event," he said.

The new $6 admission is for a one-hour session Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. First-come, first-served sessions are at 4, 5, 6 and 7:30 p.m. Admission includes skate rentals as well.

Briccotto notes that additional sessions are available Friday evening, and Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening for $10 per adult and $8 per child.

Private lessons are also available, along with bookings for holiday and birthday parties. Details are listed online at wonderfestde.org.
