Worcester Prep’s Tucker Brown to play lacrosse at Furman

Worcester Prep senior Tucker Brown of Rehoboth Beach officially committed to play Division I men’s lacrosse at Furman University in Greenville, S.C., in a ceremony held March 13.

In addition to being in the National Honor Society, Brown’s athletic accolades include ESIAC Player of the Year and MVP in both lacrosse and basketball; all-conference and captain of soccer, basketball and lacrosse; and one of 44 Kelly Award finalists in 2017 to be named Best Lacrosse Player in the State of Maryland. WPS Director of Athletics Matt McGinnis said: “We are so proud of Tucker Brown and all that he has accomplished here at Worcester Prep, both academically and athletically. Tucker has certainly left his legacy as a true leader, a great teammate and fierce competitor!”
