Worcester Prep soccer coach records 500th win

Worcester Prep head soccer coach Terry Underkoffler earned his 500th career win Oct. 9, when his Worcester Prep boys’ soccer team defeated Holly Grove 2-0. 

“I still remember my first win coaching soccer at my alma mater, Souderton Area High School, in 1985,” said Underkoffler. “And I will never forget my 500th milestone, thanks to this Worcester team I have had the honor of coaching since 2012.”  

Underkoffler began playing soccer at the age of 14 and transitioned to a coaching career after graduating from West Chester University in 1976. In the past six years, his soccer coaching record is 79-9-1, which includes five consecutive ESIAC championships. Underkoffler and his wife reside in Ocean Pines, Md., and are the parents of four grown children.
