OK, this photo is interesting. Taken in late August, the image was submitted by Tony Buffkin. What it shows is a man enjoying a ride on a boat off the coast of Rehoboth Beach. In the distance is a shipping vessel. Such boats are common sights along our shores, given this area is a popular shipping channel to and from the Port of Wilmington. A quick Google search of the ship's name, Hamburg Süd, revealed the following from its official website (hamburgsud.com): "Since its formation in 1871, Hamburg Süd has evolved from a conventional shipping company into a globally operating transport logistics organisation. Today, it ranks among the world's ten largest container shipping lines and is one of the leading providers in the North-South trades."
