You can find a lot of useless information on the internet.

Ranking the most popular restaurant-types in Delaware: 1. Pizza shops; 2. bakeries; 3. sandwich shops; 4. Chinese food restaurants.

By far, chicken – not pizza – is the most popular delivery food in the First State. In fact, chicken is the #1 delivery food across the nation. The ranking in Delaware: 1. chicken; 2. pizza; 3. burgers; 4. sushi; 5. Mexican; 6. pasta. Source: GrubHub and DoorDash.

This is one I find hard to believe. The marriage capital of Delaware – the city with the highest percentage of married adults – is Dover at 33 percent, ranking 50th in the nation. Compare that to #1 The Villages, Fla., at 79 percent. The survey must not count small towns because I know many more than 33 percent of people living in most Sussex County towns are married. Rehoboth Beach is the richest city in Delaware. The average household income is more than $89,000. The richest city in the U.S.A. is Atherton, Calif., with an average income of more than $144,000. The pizza capital of the U.S. is Chicago followed by New York City and Philadelphia in fourth place. New York has an amazing 1,795 pizza restaurants. If it were based on population, it's a strong bet that Rehoboth Beach might be among the rankings. Source: Yelp

Surprisingly, the murder capital and most dangerous place to live – based on 2014 FBI data – is St. Louis, Mo. Baltimore is #3 on both lists.

In the realm of a cool place to be, the folks at thrilllist.com ranked Delaware #49 based on “just about everything,” but estately.com ranked Delaware #5 based on criteria that includes the number of Arby's, people who eat egg salad and the number of magicians per capita.

Business Insider ranked Delaware #11 in its list of weird and normal states. Hawaii, #50, was listed as the weirdest state and Indiana at #1 was the most normal state.

According to the website 247wallstreet.com, Delaware is the 21st best state to live in based on several economic factors. The top 10 are: 10. Virginia. 9. Hawaii. 8. Vermont. 7. Maryland. 6. Colorado. 5. Minnesota. 4. New Jersey. 3. New Hampshire. 2. Connecticut. 1. Massachusetts.
