The Rehoboth Beach Museum is awaiting approval from the city commissioners on a $176,000 amenities project on the bank of the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal. The project will see a walkway constructed on the canal bank with an overlook stretching 15 to 20 feet out. Rehoboth Beach Historical Society President Paul Kuhns said he hopes to get construction under way by April 1.
