Sussex Tech students earn certification

Sussex Tech inducts Honor Society

Bonkersville supports

In an effort to support local students, Bonkersville donated more than $2,000 worth of gift certificates to many area elementary schools. Bonkersville began this program last year and administrators used the gift certificates to reward students’ Positive Behavior Programs, Healthy Kids Initiatives and strong report cards. Workshop explores saving, budgeting
Sussex Parents As Teachers and the Delaware Money School will present a free workshop on “How To Save Without Reducing the Quality of Life” from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 20, at Grace United Methodist Church in Millsboro. Cape class of 1999 plans Nov. 27 reunion
Cape Henlopen High School’s class of 1999 will hold its 10-year class reunion from 7 to 10 p.m., Friday, Nov. 27, at Salt Air Restaurant on Wilmington Avenue in Rehoboth Beach. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased before the event at Salt Air Restaurant or Hammerheads in Dewey Beach or by email to cape99reunion@gmail.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the door the day of the event, but reservations should be made in advance by email to the above address or by calling Katie Owens Joseph at 684-4559. Facebook members can join the group Cape Henlopen class of 1999 to receive updates.

Find Cape Grads project seeks volunteers
An appeal goes out to all Cape Henlopen High School graduates who would like to give back to their school and community. The Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation is asking for volunteers to serve on a committee to find Cape graduates and set up an information database. Anyone interested in the Find Cape Grads project and the eventual development of the Cape Henlopen Alumni Association can email Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation board member Chris King, Christinedking@comcast.net or contact the Cape Henlopen School District office at 645-6686 with their contact information.

Vendors are needed for the annual Santa’s Workshop
Event to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Dec. 3 and 4, in the Commons Lobby area at Sussex Technical High School near Georgetown. Tables cost $25 each or $40 if electricity is needed. Items being sold should be approximately $10 to accommodate the budgets of the students.
