Robert ‘Bob’ Hollamon, M&T Bank retiree

Robert "Bob" Hollamon, 77, originally from Baltimore, Md., died Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, at home in Millsboro. He was born in Baltimore, Md., and was the son of the late Vassie and Hannah (Pollack) Hollamon. 



Bob retired as the information technology operations vice president for M & T Bank (formerly First National Bank of Maryland).

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jeannette Hollamon; son David Hollamon of Baltimore; daughter Judy Hollamon of Millsboro; and youngest son Brian Hollamon of Delmar; five grandchildren, Joshua Mitchell, Casey Hollamon-Whaley, Amanda Whaley, Josie Hollamon, and Jordyn Hollamon; and two great-grandchildren, Jase Wilson and Gavin Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Vassie Hollamon.

A Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 8, at Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro, with a chapel service at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Miller of Oak Orchard officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to his grandchildren's college fund at the Farmers Bank of Willards, In memory of Bob Hollamon, 28660 DuPont Blvd., Millsboro, DE 19966.
