Louise Sample Clark, nursing assistant

Louise Sample Clark, 55, of Millsboro, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.

Louise was born Sept. 16, 1956, to the late Nelson Ames and Catherine Sample. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Linford Clark in 2008; and also a daughter, Rose Sample.

She was a nursing assistant for many years at Harrison House in Georgetown. She was a hard worker who loved to socialize with friends, enjoyed barbeques, word puzzles, drawing and refreshments.

She is survived by three children, Katina Sample of Magnolia, Clayton Sample of Georgetown and Brady Sample of Snow Hill, Md.; five sisters, Mary Jane Nelson, Yvonne Morris, Anna Ames, Catherine Rebecca Davis and Doris Showell; three brothers, Edward Ames, Raymond Sample and John Lee Hargett; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call at 11 a.m. Elder Eric Ames will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery, Millsboro.
