Marie Mayor very statesmanlike

October 19, 2012

Over the past several months I have had the opportunity to talk one-on-one with Marie Mayor and to observe her make presentations to, and interact with, audiences. In every single instance I have been impressed with her grace, her ability to grasp and communicate the nuances of issues, and the ways in which her varied experience informs her passion for service.

The word that comes to mind to describe Marie Mayor is statesmanlike.  We of the 20th District would be well served to have as our next state representative an individual who clearly would work in a constructive, nonpartisan manner to meet the needs and aspirations of our district and state.
